The Golden State Warriors are, once again, NBA champions.
After taking down the Boston Celtics 4-2 in the Finals, Steve Kerr‘s team has claimed the top prize in the league.
It’s quite the feat, especially after the last couple of bumpy years the team has endured.
And Kerr thinks it’s perhaps Steph Curry’s most impressive accomplishment yet.

Speaking about Curry and his legacy, Kerr laid it all out succinctly, as shared above by 95.7 The Game:
“Steph is our Magic Johnson, our Tim Duncan. He’s the face of the franchise. Everything has been built around him. For that reason, I will always think of this title as Steph’s crowning glory.”
Kerr is right: everything has been built around Curry – and it’s not just the team that now revolves around him, it’s the entire league.
King Curry
Kerr said that the Warriors have been built around Curry and he’s 100% correct.
But Curry’s surge through the league has also radically transformed the entire NBA and the way that players inside it operate.
Ever since Curry became the league’s top dog, other players have attempted to mimic his three-point percentage, as well as the way he weaves through the court and plays with his teammates.
The league really does look a lot like Curry now.
This latest championship is confirmation that Curry has changed the game and his first Finals MVP means that he’s still an undeniable icon and the most valuable part of his team.
Players like Curry don’t come around often and the Warriors are very lucky they still have him.
These Finals may have been the most important for Curry but there is a strong possibility that he and his team will attempt to win it all again soon.
