For the first time in a few years, the Golden State Warriors have a real chance of making the NBA Finals.
They have been suffering because of injuries over the last couple of seasons but they are back in fine form yet again.
This was on display Sunday afternoon as the team overcame the Memphis Grizzlies, 117-116 on the road.
This was achieved even though one of their biggest players, Draymond Green, was ejected in the first half of the game.
Yes, the Warriors are looking terrific again – and it’s in large part due to head coach Steve Kerr and his expert rotation skills.
Steve Kerr says his conversation with Jordan Poole about moving to the bench for game 1 against the Grizzlies was really easy. He says Steph Curry coming off the bench for most of the Nuggets series gives the young players perspective, sets an example. @kron4news #dubnation

For example, Kerr decided to not start Jordan Poole on Sunday, even though Poole has been having one heck of a postseason so far.
How did he break the news to Poole?
Quite easily it seems.
Kerr said that his conversation with Poole about moving to the bench was simple.
This is because Steph Curry coming off the bench for much of the previous series set a great example for the younger players.
If Curry is willing to do it, others will be too.
Poole Making A Splash
Poole didn’t start on Sunday but he still helped out his team in a huge way.
He ended up with a team-high 31 points, 8 rebounds, and 9 assists.
This was just another example of Poole proving that he’s one of the best young players in the league.
The fact that Kerr can have him come off the bench speaks to the power of the Warriors.
Kerr has focused on creating a stacked roster that can work in any game against any team.
Far too many people think the Warriors are just a smaller team that is obsessed with shooting threes.
That just isn’t the case and it’s because of Kerr’s foresight and planning.
