The Georgia Bulldogs are college football national champions for the second year in a row.
Monday night’s national title game against the TCU Horned Frogs was a massive blowout, and Georgia won 65-7 in Los Angeles.
It wasn’t close one bit, and Georgia finishes the year with an undefeated record and Kirby Smart has now cemented his stake as the guy in college football — at least for the time being.
However, there is at least one underdog on the Georgia roster — quarterback Stetson Bennett.
The 25-year-old signal-caller just finished his college career with a 29-3 record and back-to-back national championships while being named a Heisman Trophy finalist.
So, how is he an underdog?
His story is one of the more unique ones in recent memory.
Stetson Bennett has an amazing story:
• 2-star recruit in HS
• Walked on at Georgia
• Transferred to Junior College
• Transferred back to Georgia
• Beat out multiple 5-star recruitsAnd now he’ll leave his dream school as a 2x National Champion.

This is an incredible storybook ending for Bennett’s college career.
He was a two-star recruit out of high school and had to walk on at Georgia.
Then, he left and transferred to Jones Junior College in 2018, throwing for 1,840 yards and 16 touchdowns.
Bennett returned to Georgia and will now finish with two national titles and a lifetime of memories, as well as one of the most decorated Bulldogs QBs in the history of the program.
The next step for Stetson Bennett is the NFL.
