Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry was one of many who chimed in on the Nate Robinson v. Jake Paul boxing fight.

Of course, they were the co main event to the highly anticipated return of Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr.

Nate Robinson made his professional boxing debut on the pay per view, while Jake Paul was fighting in his second professional fight.

Jake Paul — most notably known as a YouTube flunker — went viral on social media after dropping Nate Robinson in the second round.

As a result, the trolls had a field day at the expense of Nate Robinson.

Golden State Warriors G Stephen Curry Reacts to KO

One of those being 2x MVP, Stephen Curry.

Prior to the fight, Nate Robinson posted on Twitter discussing how he was fighting for his NBA brothers, athletes and his family.

Curry responded to the tweet expressing his faith in Nate Robinson.

Robinson then responded to Curry expressing his belief in himself.

Gonna shock the world bro.

To Nate’s credit, he would have shocked the world if he were able to win.

Although Jake Paul isn’t a “professional” boxer, he does have some experience under his belt and has trained for this combat sport far longer than Robinson has.

As much of the world already knows, Paul KO’d Robinson in the second round with a vicious counter punch.

After the fight, Curry responded to the tweet of Robinson stating that, he indeed shook the world.

I see no lies

— Stephen Curry (@StephenCurry30) November 29, 2020

Of course, this is Steph in his trolling bag as Nate shocked the world for the wrong reasons.

Stars All Around React To The KO

Unfortunately, for Nate Robinson, Paul’s punch that knocked him out was only the beginning of the end.

After the fight, stars all around were commenting on the performance.

Told you not to take this fight. Plus you’re wearing Knicks colors, WTF did you expect to happen 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 pic.twitter.com/2XkGidtZye

— shannon sharpe (@ShannonSharpe) November 29, 2020

Shannon Sharpe had his fun by cropping his face as the ref and saying, “you’re wearing Knicks colors, WTF did you expect”.

That was no representation of the NBA Family lol

— Nick Young (@NickSwagyPYoung) November 29, 2020

Nick Young was not pleased with how Nate represented his “NBA brothers”.

While countless others chimed in and poked fun at the former 3x NBA Slam Dunk Champion, there were some who came to his aid.

— Ballislife.com (@Ballislife) November 30, 2020

Floyd “Money” Mayweather was displeased with how black athletes and entertainers were kicking Nate while he was down.

Easy to laugh when most wouldn't dare get in the ring..He is the best athlete the city has had.. And it's not close. Still a 👑 https://t.co/2Gsi3gHoHw

— 🏁 Jamal Crawford (@JCrossover) November 29, 2020

Jamal Crawford stood up for Robinson responding to one of the million trolls.

In all seriousness, boxing is a sport that cannot be taken lightly.

It took a lot of courage for Robinson to put in the time and effort and most importantly, to step into the ring knowing the risks.

While others viewed it as pure entertainment and an opportunity to have go viral on social media, the reality is that this situation shed light on the negative aspects of social media outlets.

Luckily, Robinson didn’t suffer any serious injuries.

He sent out a post on Instagram thanking fans for their support and his trainers for their time and effort.

Although people have created the “Nate Robinson Challenge”, the former NBA star will be just fine as he been dealing with trollers his entire career.
