Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry was one of many who chimed in on the Nate Robinson v. Jake Paul boxing fight.
Of course, they were the co main event to the highly anticipated return of Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr.
Nate Robinson made his professional boxing debut on the pay per view, while Jake Paul was fighting in his second professional fight.
Jake Paul — most notably known as a YouTube flunker — went viral on social media after dropping Nate Robinson in the second round.
As a result, the trolls had a field day at the expense of Nate Robinson.

To Nate’s credit, he would have shocked the world if he were able to win.
Although Jake Paul isn’t a “professional” boxer, he does have some experience under his belt and has trained for this combat sport far longer than Robinson has.
As much of the world already knows, Paul KO’d Robinson in the second round with a vicious counter punch.

Floyd “Money” Mayweather was displeased with how black athletes and entertainers were kicking Nate while he was down.
Easy to laugh when most wouldn't dare get in the ring..He is the best athlete the city has had.. And it's not close. Still a 👑 https://t.co/2Gsi3gHoHw
— 🏁 Jamal Crawford (@JCrossover) November 29, 2020
Jamal Crawford stood up for Robinson responding to one of the million trolls.
In all seriousness, boxing is a sport that cannot be taken lightly.
It took a lot of courage for Robinson to put in the time and effort and most importantly, to step into the ring knowing the risks.
While others viewed it as pure entertainment and an opportunity to have go viral on social media, the reality is that this situation shed light on the negative aspects of social media outlets.
Luckily, Robinson didn’t suffer any serious injuries.
He sent out a post on Instagram thanking fans for their support and his trainers for their time and effort.
