It’s crazy to think that the San Francisco 49ers — once the most dominant force in the National Football League — haven’t won a Super Bowl in nearly three decades.
They’ve knocked on the door quite often as of late, even losing in the big game a couple of times in the past decade.
The Niners have put together one of the most stacked and talented rosters in the whole league, but quarterback play continues to be the only thing standing in the way of another ring.
That’s why sports analyst Stephen A. Smith believes they should do their due diligence to try and trade for Lamar Jackson, who’s not being valued by the Baltimore Ravens.
“First of all, San Francisco should offer Trey Lance, picks, players, whatever [so] they can get Lamar Jackson,” Smith said on First Take. “If Lamar Jackson was on the San Francisco 49ers, they’re winning it all.”

Smith believes that the Niners should offer anything they can to land Jackson, going as far as to say that they’d win a Super Bowl with him.
Truth be told, it’s hard to argue with this statement.
The Niners made it to the NFC Championship Game with a QB room consisting of Lance, Jimmy Garoppolo, and Mr. Irrelevant Brock Purdy.
They have one of the best running games in the league, and their corps of skill players if just remarkable, not to mention they have an elite defense.
Jackson is one of the best dual-threat QBs this league has ever seen, and his ability to scramble would take the Niners’ offense to a whole new dimension.
Lamar doesn’t feel respected in Baltimore, and the Ravens have made it clear that they don’t think that losing him would be the end of the world, so maybe John Lynch should listen to Stephen A.
