After being one of Michael Jordan’s biggest supporters over the years, longtime Chicago Bulls teammate Scottie Pippen turned on arguably the greatest player of all time after the way he was portrayed in The Last Dance documentary on Netflix a few years ago.
Ever since then, every chance Pippen has gotten to criticize and put Jordan down, he’s done it, and in a very public fashion, as it seems, as he’s looking to embarrass the man he won six NBA titles playing alongside.
Recently, Pippen was at it again, taking shots at Jordan, as he claims that the Hall of Famer was a horrible player before he joined him in Chicago in 1987.
Pippen’s latest comments weren’t received well, as it seemed clear that he’s bitter and doing all he can to make Jordan look as bad as he possibly can, prompting ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith to call him out.
I think we all have a good guess as to why Scottie Pippen is actually mad… pic.twitter.com/iMwSvA8kuG

Things seem to be getting uglier and uglier in this situation between Pippen and Jordan, even though the owner of the Charlotte Hornets hasn’t even engaged his former teammate publicly.
Jordan appears to be taking the high road when being criticized by his former Bulls teammate, as he may believe it’s beneath him to comment on unwarranted criticism from someone that seems to have an agenda.
At this point, it doesn’t seem like the relationship between these two can be mended, with Pippen adamant about making ridiculous comments about the 60-year-old.
It’s getting to the point where NBA fans simply aren’t listening to Pippen as he continues to tarnish his legacy in his mission to ruin Jordan’s.
