The Los Angeles Clippers are looking to make a run at the NBA championship this year.
Heading into the all-star break the Clippers are 33-28 and in fourth place in the West.
The West is so jumbled up that they are only three games from the team in 12th place.
If the Clippers are serious contenders, they need to stay healthy over the second half of the season.
Kawhi Leonard has been injured plenty this season and that has been his biggest problem over the past few years.
It was clear that the Clippers are going all-in this season, and their most recent move proves that.
LA recently agreed to a contract with free agent point guard Russell Westbrook.
Despite struggling with the Lakers earlier in the season the Clippers are willing to take a chance on him now.
ESPN personality Stephen A Smith even thinks signing Westbrook was a great move by the Clippers.

Stephen A mentioned how Westbrook always being on the court was a reason for the signing.
With the frequent injuries to Leonard and Paul George, having someone that will show up every game is crucial.
But, the problem with Westbrook is that he is a high-usage, low-efficiency player.
He is shooting 41.7% from the field this year and 29.6% from three.
It will be interesting to see what role the Clippers ask Westbrook to play.
He only started three games with the Lakers this year, so maybe a bench role better suits him.
Depending on the Westbrook the Clippers get he could make or break their season.NEXT: Charles Barkley Isn’t So Sure About The Clippers
