The NBA offseason has been as wild as ever with player mobility and plenty of disgruntled players.
We have seen players demand trades and put their franchises in a bind.
But, some players are in the news for their inability to stay healthy.
One player who has struggled to stay on the court is Chicago Bulls point guard Lonzo Ball.
He has not played in an NBA game since January 14, 2022.
Ball has run into serious problems with his knee which required him to receive a cartilage transplant.
Stephen A. Smith and Ball got into a disagreement about the health of the point guard.
As noted by USA Today, Smith said, “I’ve heard that it’s even hard for him to get up from a seated position.”
That led to Ball posting a video of him standing up and sitting down.
But, Smith was not impressed because he knows Ball is still not healthy enough to play in games and decided to offer a comeback, via Legion Hoops.
Stephen A. Smith fires BACK at Lonzo Ball:
“You really going to sit poolside on the bench and think because you getting up and sitting down… that makes you healthy? … Bro, you ain’t healthy.”

Ball is expected to miss all of this upcoming season with the same knee issue.
It is anyone’s guess when we will see the point guard back on the floor.
But, he does plan on returning to the NBA at some point.
The Bulls invested a lot in Ball back in 2021.
He signed a four-year, $80 million contract to play in Chicago.
Ball plans on playing out the rest of that contract and hopefully receiving a new one.
The injury bug has done a number on Ball, so hopefully, he will be able to return to full health at some point.
