It’s the dawn of a new era for the Golden State Warriors.
Bob Myers will no longer be calling the shots in the next couple of years, and that could be the beginning of the end of the dynasty.
Myers’ run in charge of the organization was the most memorable in franchise history, which is why Stephen Curry paid his respects on social media by posting a heartfelt farewell message to his now-former boss and friend.

Curry was already with the team before Myers arrived, but he made nearly everything right to surround him with the role players and stars he needed to thrive, including coach Steve Kerr.
Myers pulled the strings behind closed doors, turning the Warriors into the dynasty and powerhouse we know them as nowadays.
Of course, there were some questionable moves along the way, and some Warriors fans may hold Jordan Poole’s deal or the James Wiseman pick against him for years to come, but it’s hard to get every single move right, and Myers nailed most of the deals he made.
Notably, this could lead to even more exits from the organization as well.
Coach Kerr admitted that this is a business with no job security, and the futures of Klay Thompson and Draymond Green have often been a subject of debate around the league.
As for Myers, it shouldn’t take long before we see him take a new role somewhere else, assuming he’s not looking forward to taking some time off before embarking on a new project.
