No matter how these NBA Finals end, it’s impossible to not be wowed by the work from Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors.
Curry has come to life in these Finals, repeatedly putting up double-digit points, leading his team on offense, and showcasing his top-of-the-line basketball IQ.
Not only is that leading to some important wins, it’s also putting him alongside other NBA legends.

Curry now joins LeBron James and Michael Jordan as one of the only players in NBA Finals history to score 40+ points in a game at the age of 34 or older.
That’s a special milestone for multiple reasons: 40 points is always impressive, especially in the competitive Finals.
But doing that at 34 or older against players ten years younger?
That’s something special.
However, Curry is always showing how special he is.
Finals Fire
If the Warriors end up winning these Finals, Curry is most definitely the favorite to win Finals MVP.
That trophy has eluded Curry before in his previous wins but there is no doubt he’s the likeliest pick for it this year.
Curry is once again showing why people shouldn’t doubt him, regardless of his age or the season he’s had.
While this year was record-breaking for Curry, he definitely had some rough patches when it came to finding his shots.
But that feels like years ago now, as Curry lights up the floor every single night.
Some fans expected the Boston Celtics to just walk over the Warriors in these Finals, winning it all because of their youth and the fire in their bellies.
Curry wasn’t having any of that.
He may be older but he’s playing like a young man ready to prove it all again.
