Like every NBA player, Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors can get heated at times.
But although he has been involved in some of the biggest games in recent NBA history, Curry is usually cool, calm, and collected.
That wasn’t the case on Wednesday night.

With just over a minute to go in a tight match against the Memphis Grizzlies, Curry was ejected from the game for throwing his mouthpiece in frustration.
This was only the third career ejection for Curry, including playoffs.
Coincidentally, all three ejections have been because of him throwing a mouthpiece.
Wednesday’s incident occurred after Curry called for the ball from his teammate, Jordan Poole.
Instead of tossing to Curry, Poole put up a deep three-pointer and missed.
Curry, obviously upset by the whole possession, threw the piece and was immediately ejected.
This couldn’t have come at a worse time for the Warriors, who were down by two points with only a minute to go.
Thankfully, Poole was able to redeem himself and scored the last two points for his team, giving them a close victory over Memphis.
Following the game, Curry stood in the hallway waiting for his team, specifically Poole.
The two players greeted each other happily and showed there was no bad blood between them.
Curry really wanted the win on Wednesday for a number of reasons.
His team is trying to claw its way into playoff contention and is slowly making progress.
He also had a strong desire to defeat the Grizzlies, who have become serious rivals in the West over the last year.
His emotions got the best of him on Wednesday but Curry’s Warriors still walked away victorious.
