It happened as Curry and his Warriors were getting closer and closer to putting the Boston Celtics away in the NBA Finals.
As victory loomed, Curry made a little “night night” gesture, using his two hands as a pillow to rest his head on.
It only lasted a second but now looks like it’ll live on for a lifetime.
Following the Warriors’ win, the “night night” motion has caught on like wildfire online.
Curry has done it again repeatedly in public, particularly during the team’s victory parade in downtown San Francisco.
And now players all over the world are taking it on and making it their own.
One kid took it even further when he literally laid down after sinking a bucket in a game.

Curry commented on the young player, saying the kid “went to sleep on em!”
The Warriors star has done so much during his career but this might be one of the most popular things he’s been associated with.
The NBA has been full of colorful, fun gestures similar to Curry’s “night night” one.
Many of them have caught on and made their way to high school games, local parks, and beyond.
Curry’s latest really works so well because it’s so easy to do and is instantly recognizable.
Plus, it’s just an amusing way to roast opponents.
If Curry and his team didn’t end up beating the Celtics, who knows if this would have taken off in such a big way.
Its association with the Warriors and their latest championship run certainly gives it more prominence and popularity.
