Tuesday night isn’t only opening night for the NBA, it’s a very special night for the Golden State Warriors.
That is because it will be when the team receives their latest championship rings, having won the NBA Finals back in June.
Many of the stars on the team have already won a ring but this latest one is perhaps the most important.
It’ll be especially cherished by Stephen Curry, who won his first Finals MVP in June and had one heck of a postseason.

If history is any indication, Curry will have a great first game on opening night.
In previous ring night games throughout his career, Curry has averaged 31.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 6.7 assists with a field goal percentage of 52%.
This all spells great news for fans of the Warriors and horrible news for the Los Angeles Lakers.
Chef Curry Gets Cooking
Curry will have something to prove on Tuesday night.
His last season was a statement to everyone that he was still one of the best players alive and wasn’t even close to being done.
So, of course he will want to keep building upon that narrative.
Curry will be in front of a home crowd during this special ring night and it’ll be after weeks of drama because of Draymond Green and the punching incident with Jordan Poole.
In other words, the team and Curry will be ready to move on and remind everyone how special and powerful a team they are.
The Lakers are going to fight hard for their own reasons but everyone expects the Warriors to really come out swinging on Tuesday night.
Curry could have one of the best opening nights of his career and that says something.
