The entire NBA world is wondering what’s next for Deandre Ayton of the Phoenix Suns.
Word on the street is that Ayton is no longer happy with the Suns and their reluctance to grant him a max contract extension.
Therefore, the speculation is that he will leave the Suns in the weeks ahead.
We aren’t sure where he will head but wherever he ends up, he will bring a lot of special, powerful magic to the floor.

In 2022, Ayton averaged 17.2 points and 10.2 rebounds a game, with a 63.4% field goal percentage and 30 double-doubles.
That’s in the top 10 for centers in terms of points, rebounds, and field goal percentage.
With numbers like that, it’s only a matter of time before he finds a deal he wants in the league.
Deandre’s Defense
It’s wild to see Ayton grabbing 10 boards a game but the fact that he’s doing that on top of 17.2 points and such a high field goal percentage makes it even more impressive.
He’s definitely one of the biggest names floating around free agency right now.
As mentioned, Ayton is hoping for a max contract and it’s not quite clear where he will get that.
There was talk of him moving to the Detroit Pistons but the buzz around that deal has cooled, as has speculation about him possibly moving east to the Brooklyn Nets.
So it’s not clear where he is moving but Ayton is being eyed by multiple teams, with good reason.
Ayton plays the sort of defense that could definitely make a team playoff-ready and even capable of making the Finals.
That’s exactly what happened just two seasons ago with his Suns.
It’s time for Ayton to make his mark on a new team.
