Despite their up-and-down season, the Golden State Warriors have one thing they can always count on.
That is the elite three-point shooting of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.
Those two got their name “the splash bros” for their ability to knock down threes.
We have once again seen that at a high level in 2022.
Curry and Thompson are two of four players to average 4+ threes per game this season.

LaMelo Ball and Damian Lillard are also averaging 4+.
In most seasons you can find Curry and Thompson at the top of any three-point shooting leaderboard.
Despite not seeing Curry on the floor since December 14th, he is still fifth in the NBA in total threes made with 131.
Thompson is right behind Curry with 123 made on the season.
Even with the elite shooting duo, Golden State still has a 20-20 record on the season.
Their defense has been poor this season and they seem to be out of sync as a whole.
On the road, they are the worst team in the NBA.
They are 3-16 and have lost a bunch of games to rebuilding teams.
At some point, the Warriors need to go on a run and win a bunch of games.
Golden State has too many talented players to not be a top-four seed in the West.
The health of Curry will ultimately be the main factor in how far Golden State can go.
He is expected to be back next weekend and that should help turn their season around.
Expect to see many more elite shooting games from Curry and Thompson as they hope to repeat as NBA champions.
