The Golden State Warriors need to flip the switch and start playing better.
Just past the halfway point in the season, the Warriors sit with a record of 22-22.
That is not where anyone thought the defending champions would be.
One thing that has been concerning for them has been their inability to get to the free-throw line.
Golden State has some of the best free-throw shooters in the league on their team, yet those players rarely get foul calls.
Specifically, Stephen Curry, Jordan Poole, and Klay Thompson.
But, the most frustrating has been the lack of calls for Curry.
If you look around the league, most of the start players are leading the league in free-throw attempts per game.
Curry is currently 35th in the league in attempts (FTA) per game with 5.1.
That is the same amount of FTA that Harrison Barnes gets per game.
When Curry does get to the line, it will rarely be for more than 10 FTAs per game.

Even though Curry plays a different game than most of the players at the top of this list, he should still be getting more calls.
Opposing teams are so afraid of Curry getting open looks from three that they close out hard on him.
So he should be getting more foul calls on all the three-point attempts he takes.
Also, being a smaller player, when he drives to the rim and draws contact there should be more fouls called.
But, Curry has been dealing with the lack of calls his whole career and it has not slowed him down one bit.
