As the NFL season gets closer to ending, teams usually have an injury bug hit them at some point.
However, for the Tennessee Titans, they have been decimated by injuries throughout this season.
The injuries are putting the team in a bind, as they now place first in a bad statistic.
A Troubling Titans Statistic
Jim Wyatt tweeted on Monday how the Titans had four players making their first start in 2022.
However, the troubling part is how the Titans have now used 80 players this season, ranking first in the NFL now.
OLB Tarell Basham, CB John Reid, WR Racey McMath and LB Jack Gibbens all made their first appearance of the season for the #Titans.
The team has now used 80 players in 2022. Their 76 players entering the week were the 2nd most in the league behind only the @AZCardinals (77).

While the list from Wyatt shows how many players the Titans have used, it doesn’t show the list of players out with injuries.
The injury report going into Week 15 has six players listed as questionable.
However, there are several other players on injury reserve which the Titans hope to have back during Week 15.
But even with their return, there’s a long list of other players still out for the season.
With the team having over 20 different players miss time from injuries, it’s clear why they are having issues down the stretch.
Losing key players like Zach Cunningham on defense has hurt.
While Derrick Henry, the Titans premier offensive player, has avoided injury this season, others haven’t been as lucky.
His offensive teammate, Ryan Tannehill, was out for two games following an ankle injury.
With him out, the Titans went 1-1, which might prove costly given their current losing streak.
If the Titans want to make a Super Bowl run, they need to keep their players healthy this season.
