In MLB, there are 30 teams spread across six divisions.
This, naturally, causes some divisions to be stronger than others.
Each one has five teams: in some divisions, all five teams are competitive, others have three or four, and there are some with just one or even no truly powerful squads.
It changes year to year.
This piece of data will give you an idea about some of the strongest and weakest divisions.
“The Brewers are 29-27 and in first place. The Mariners are 29-27 and in third place. The Red Sox are 29-27 and in last place,” Codify Baseball tweeted.

The Milwaukee Brewers have taken advantage of a really mediocre year by the NL Central.
Well, to be fair, three of the teams in the division have improved their play compared to 2022: the Pittsburgh Pirates, the Cincinnati Reds, and the Chicago Cubs.
But the Brewers are barely a .500 team, and the St. Louis Cardinals have gone from legitimate contenders to wildly inconsistent underachievers.
The division is, together with the AL Central, the weakest in baseball.
The AL West, however, is considerably stronger and the 29-27 Seattle Mariners, who would lead the NL Central, are third.
Of course, the Texas Rangers and the Houston Astros have been better than the M’s so far.
Then, we go to the AL East, statistically the best division in the majors.
All teams have a record better than .500.
The Boston Red Sox would be tied with the Brewers at the top of the NL Central, but they don’t play there.
As a result, they are last in the AL East and 10 games behind the leaders, the Tampa Bay Rays.
It’s funny how things work sometimes.
Still, there is a lot of baseball to be played and things can change at any minute.NEXT: The Diamondbacks Are Matching Elite Franchise History
