Spencer Dinwiddie of the Brooklyn Nets is definitely not friends with Kyle Kuzma of the Washington Wizards.
Over the last year, the two have had a growing beef that has mostly played out over social media.
We haven’t heard anything about their rivalry in the last few months so some people thought the hatchet had been buried.
It has not.
Speaking on the “Pat Bev Podcast,” Dinwiddie confirmed that the two players do not get along and wouldn’t deny the fact that there will be “smoke” the next time they see each other.

This bitter battle started when Dinwiddie was still playing for the Dallas Mavericks.
The Mavericks were beaten by the Wizards and Dinwiddie said that Washington wasn’t “trying to play winning basketball” in a press conference.
His comments were meant to fire up and inspire his team, according to Dinwiddie.
Instead, they got under Kuzma’s skin, who shot back on Twitter.
Since then, the two have publicly called each other out, with Dinwiddie remarking on Kuzma’s celebrity status and Kuzma then calling Dinwiddie insecure.
It looks like this is going to continue into the future.
So, what does that mean for any Nets-Wizards games in 2023-24?
There will be more attention paid because it’ll give Dinwiddie and Kuzma a chance to battle it out on the court.
Both teams are in a weird place, attempting to get stronger after some big roster changes.
The Nets and Wizards are hoping to find their places in the crowded Eastern Conference standings.
This back-and-forth between Dinwiddie and Kuzma will only make them play harder.
