Spencer Dinwiddie of the Dallas Mavericks used to play for the Brooklyn Nets and seemed to enjoy his time there.
But on Wednesday night he was putting his former team to shame.
After a wild fourth quarter between the two teams, Dinwiddie put the Nets away in a dramatic and heart-breaking fashion.

Dinwiddie nailed his second of back-to-back game-winners with a dagger three in the closing seconds of the game against the Nets in Brooklyn.
It was yet another impressive play from Dinwiddie, who has provided a huge impact for the Mavericks since his arrival last month.
Dinwiddie In Dallas
While rewatching it, you can see the brilliance of that final play of the game.
The Nets swarmed Luka Doncic, afraid that he would be the one to score a killer three-pointer.
Dinwiddie made them pay for that, setting himself up for a clean shot right after Doncic passed to him.
Since showing up in Dallas, Dinwiddie has become an important part of the squad and has turned them into clutch time champions.
He has scored 23 points on 6-of-7 shooting in 19 clutch minutes, according to ESPN.
The Mavericks have outscored their opponents by 39 points with him on the floor in those late-game situations.
Some people weren’t sure of what to think about Dinwiddie when he was sent to Dallas in exchange for Kristaps Porzingis.
But he has proven himself again and again and fans of the team are becoming much more comfortable with the young player.
The fact that Doncic is no longer the only clutch pro on the team means that Dallas has become much more dangerous.
Dinwiddie in Dallas has become undeniable good news for the team and its fans.
