For years, Draymond Green has been a polarizing figure in NBA circles.
Those who appreciate and understand the game praise him for being the Golden State Warriors’ glue guy.
His playmaking, defense, and basketball IQ were three big reasons why Steve Kerr found that much success in charge of the team.
For others, his big mouth, antics, and lack of scoring prowess have often made him a liability, and some believe he wouldn’t have been able to thrive in a different system.
Perhaps, the truth is somewhere in-between.
Whatever the case, Green has put together a Hall of Famer kind of résumé, so he’s earned the right to talk a little.
That’s why he didn’t hold back when Memphis Grizzlies guard Dillon Brooks took some swipes at him, unleashing his full wrath in perhaps the most epic rant of his career.
Nonetheless, Green’s words didn’t sit well with sports pundit Skip Bayless, who took to Twitter to take multiple shots at Green for his recent behavior.
Bayless pointed out that Green punched teammate Jordan Poole and then, more recently, quit on a play after throwing a tantrum because Poole didn’t pass him the ball.
At least Dillon Brooks didn't punch a teammate then quit on his team while the ball was in play by walking toward the bench because that teammate wouldn't pass him the ball. At least Brooks isn't a key reason his once dominant team is now 7-26 on the road.

Of course, none of that is a good look for a veteran like him, but he’s addressed the situation multiple times.
That’s not enough to clear his name, we get it, but it’s not like he’s felt like he’s above everybody else.
As for Brooks, well, he’s accomplished little-to-nothing in this league.
So, while Green should be held accountable for his actions, maybe taking Brooks’ side is just… Odd.
