Nobody is saying the Los Angeles Lakers are having a good season.
Not even the team’s players or coaching staff can admit that things are going according to plan.
Few people are harder on the Lakers – or their lead player, LeBron James – than Skip Bayless.
It seems the sports analyst always has something negative to say about James.
But even he had to make a short, simple, and honest assessment of King James on Monday night.
LeBron James is still the best passer in basketball.

Bayless tweeted “LeBron James is still the best passer in basketball.”
That had many LA fans agreeing with Bayless for the first time in ages and also wondering what the future holds for James and his struggling team.
Basketball IQ
It is true that no one else in the league passes like James does.
Sometimes it looks and feels like James has a sixth sense, a constant radar allows him to view the whole court and every player on it.
James’ understanding of how to play the game shows a basketball IQ level that just isn’t seen anywhere else in the association.
This is a guy who has lived and breathed basketball from a young age and all of that hard work and dedication to the sport has paid off.
Not only is he an unparalleled passer, he’s also putting up point totals that no one else has made at his age.
It makes you wonder how much longer he can play the game.
He’s currently 37 years old but he is performing like he could be in the NBA until he is at least 40.
Does that give the Lakers enough time to rebuild the team around James?
It’s not crazy to think that he still has one more championship in him.
With the sort of skills he has, it would be crazy to count James out.
