Skip Bayless is one of the most controversial members throughout all of sports media.
Yesterday morning, after the news of Tom Brady retiring from the NFL, he shared a surprising amount of praise for Brady, and the overall success he was able to find in his career.
No one in sports history has been more consistently clutch for a longer time than Tom Brady was. Not spectacularly walk-off clutch. Routinely long-drive, third-down clutch on the biggest stages. Never been anything like him. Doubt there ever will be. Well done, GOAT. Now, enjoy.

In the eyes of many, Brady is the greatest quarterback of all time, and it appears that Bayless shares that sentiment as well.
In Brady’s career, he led teams on 55 game-winning drives, which is the most by any quarterback in league history.
Brady has also broken numerous records during his time in the NFL, too many to list here.
Bayless has a point when calling out all of Brady’s accomplishments.
Likely, there will never be another player like Brady.
He played in the league for 23 seasons and retired at the age of 45.
Both of those feats are unlikely to ever happen again.
Even if a player does play that long, it is extremely unlikely that they will be able to come close to the level of success that Brady found throughout his career.
Brady won 251 regular season games throughout his career.
The next closest people on that list are Brett Favre and Peyton Manning, who played in the NFL for 19 and 17 seasons, respectively.
Favre and Manning each won 186 career regular season games, a full 65 games fewer than Brady.
Again, this just highlights Brady’s dominance, as he was at the top of his game for his entire career.
Even among other all-time greats, Brady’s accomplishments rise to the top.
