The Philadelphia Eagles are having a great start to their 2022 season by winning their first two games.
After edging the Detroit Lions in their season opener, the Eagles had a dominating performance against the Minnesota Vikings.
The Eagles got 163 rushing yards against Minnesota, most of which were from Miles Sanders.
Likewise, Philadelphia’s passing game was on full display with 300 combined yards from Dallas Goedert, A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, and Quez Watkins.
They also had two sacks and three interceptions on defense, two of which were courtesy of Darius Slay.
But the Eagles’ success wouldn’t have been possible without quarterback Jalen Hurts.
Against the Vikings, Hurts finished with 26 passes out of 31 attempts for 333 yards, a touchdown, and an interception.
He also added 57 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
In Week 1 against Detroit, he had 90 rushing yards, 243 passing yards, and a touchdown.
Those performances led FOX Sports host Skip Bayless to show nothing but praise for the former Alabama and Oklahoma standout.
Jalen Hurts: leader, baller, play-maker. You're lucky to have him, Philly.

Bayless tweeted, “Jalen Hurts: leader, baller, play-maker. You’re lucky to have him, Philly.”
That statement must have been tough for Bayless, especially since the Eagles are one of the Dallas Cowboys’ division rivals.
Worst yet, Dak Prescott is sidelined with a thumb injury that went through a successful operation.
Hurts Is The Total Package
He showed improvement with his passing accuracy from a 56.2 percent completion rate against the Lions to 83.8 versus the Vikings.
Hurts completed this turnaround while being an additional weapon in the Eagles’ ground game.
It doesn’t hurt as well to have a talented roster that can effectively attack through running or passing.
Hurts will continue to shake off his early struggles when the Eagles face the Washington Commanders in Week 3.
