When people talk about the greatest NBA players of all time, they often speak of Michael Jordan and LeBron James.
Other names are included as well but Jordan versus James is a debate that has only grown hotter over the last few years.
Opinions on this vary but they are almost always heated.
On Tuesday morning, Skip Bayless got into it with the other hosts of “Undisputed” and claimed that James asked to be compared to Jordan.
LeBron chose to be compared to Jordan. He was the first to say 'I want 23' and steal the powder toss. You don't think he was saying: ‘I got next!’? More @undisputed, now on FS1. https://t.co/9mlWTyDgoc

Bayless said that from an early age, James saw himself as the next Jordan.
Therefore, he should accept that some people, such as Bayless, are going to laugh at the idea of him being better than the Chicago Bulls legend.
James inserted himself into the conversation and now he has to sit with the good and bad of it, according to Bayless.
Of course, some would say that James simply saying he wants to be the next Jordan is something a talented young player should do.
They should reach for the stars and push themselves as hard as they can.
All promising players should want to be the next Jordan.
That doesn’t necessarily mean they think they are as good or better than Jordan.
Whether or not James chose to be compared to Jordan is irrelevant.
His career will always be weighed against Jordan’s until the end of time.
