Lamar Jackson’s situation with the Baltimore Ravens keeps getting worse.
After months of lowballing and failing to strike a new deal, the team decided to place the non-exclusive franchise stage on him, meaning he’s now free to negotiate with any other team in the league.
They eventually hold the right to match any offer he could get, but they’re not sending a good message about him.
As a matter of fact, the sole fact that they didn’t rush to sign him or even place him under the exclusive franchise tag could be reason enough to scare some other potential suitors away, just like it’s happened.
That’s why sports analyst Skip Bayless claims to be disappointed in the Ravens.
Bayless stated that the Ravens are humiliating their young franchise player by treating him this way, even after he’s still young and a couple of years removed from an MVP season.
“I am more offended by the day in how they’re treating this young QB,” Bayless said on Undisputed. “Lamar Jackson is only 25 years of age. He’s now played five seasons in this league; he actually in his third season won MVP by leading it in touchdown passes, and this is the way he’s been treated. They are shaming him worse and worse and worse.”

Jackson has been used to being underestimated and overlooked for quite a while now.
Some scouts thought he should convert to running back, or he wouldn’t have a place in this league.
But to have your very own team doubt you after what you’ve shown, especially after how terrible they looked without you… that’s just next level.
All things considered, some wouldn’t blame Jackson if he were to formally request a trade and just be over with the Ravens.
This whole situation has been disrespectful to him from day one, and it’s only gotten worse by the day.NEXT: Ravens Star Reacts To Lamar Jackson Decision
