The Los Angeles Lakers have a full offseason to plan their next move, and the fans should feel encouraged after Rob Pelinka worked his magic to revamp the roster in-season.
They have several free agents they must try and retain, but they might not want to make any big changes.
At least, that’s how Skip Bayless feels.
"I don't trust Kyrie anymore. I don't love him on or off the court. Basketball is no longer Kyrie's priority."

The often-controversial pundit urged the Lakers to stay away from Kyrie Irving — a rumored offseason target — citing that he doesn’t trust him anymore.
Bayless said that even Kyrie has admitted that basketball isn’t his No. 1 priority, so why would they want someone who’s not 100% committed to winning with them?
As talented and gifted as Irving is, he’s often drawn criticism for going on and off, and he does have a history of not being available or even accountable.
Also, Irving comes with several PR concerns as well, which is something the Brooklyn Nets learned the hard way.
Then again, if anyone can keep him focused and locked in, that’s LeBron James, who already won an NBA championship with him when he was younger.
Still, the Lakers put together a solid team and it doesn’t seem like they need anything more than just a couple of minor tweaks to be legit championship contenders again.
At the end of the day, most of the Lakers’ chances will run through Anthony Davis and whether he can live up to the expectations on any given night, so they might not need to make such a huge splash in free agency at all.
