On Saturday, two of the most compelling teams in college football will go head-to-head, with Deion Sanders’ University of Colorado playing host to No. 8 ranked University of Southern California.
Along with all the attention that Sanders brings to these college football games, as seen over the last month or so, this game showcases two of the best quarterbacks in the country.
Currently, Caleb Williams is considered the best quarterback in college football and is widely expected to be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, with teams around the NFL positioning themselves to be in the running to land the talented young star.
On the other hand, Shedeur Sanders, son of Deion Sanders, has made quite an impression during his short time in Colorado, as he’s been lighting up the scoreboard on a weekly basis for the Buffaloes.
Although Shedeur Sanders is incredibly talented with a potentially bright future ahead, the consensus is Williams is still the cream of the crop at the position right now, but Skip Bayless of FOX Sports begs to differ via Undisputed.

Bayless tries to make the case that Shedeur Sanders has a much tougher job than Williams because the degree of difficulty is “impossibly high” due to Colorado’s run game being the worst in college football.
Although Bayless may have a point, the fact of the matter is that Williams is the reason why USC is ranked No. 8 in the country and is in the running for another Heisman Trophy.
For the most part, a quarterback’s situation is what he makes it in college football, so Williams, for the time being, is the better NFL prospect.
