We already knew that Skip Bayless didn’t miss a single Los Angeles Lakers game.
However, we also knew that he only tuned in to find a way to take countless shots at LeBron James.
Bayless has been LeBron’s biggest hater since he entered the league, often sharing questionable — and borderline laughable — takes to try and take him down.
That’s why it was such a surprise to see that, for the first time ever, the FS1 analyst not only had praise for The King but also admitted that he’s now a fan of LeBron:
“What LeBron James has done, as he has turned 38 years of age, is just extraordinary,” Bayless said on Undisputed. “I have watched LeBron as closely as anyone out there. I don’t miss a LeBron game. He looks better than ever, and his body looks sensational to me. He still plays bully ball with the best of them. LeBron, I’m here to tell you a skeptic has been turned into a fan,” Bayless added. “Keep it up because you can keep it up.”

No, this isn’t April’s fool, nor was it sarcasm, but we have to add some context.
Bayless had to go out there alone on Undisputed because Shannon Sharpe refused to attend the show after Skip’s insensitive tweets on Damar Hamlin.
Skip urged the NFL to keep the game going despite Hamlin collapsing on the field, and his comments didn’t sit well with anybody.
Athletes and pundits called him out and asked for him to be fired and canceled, so maybe this praise of LeBron was a bit of a trick to win some followers back.
