The NBA world was shocked by the surprising loss of the Miami Heat to the Atlanta Hawks in Tuesday night’s play-in game.
Most people expected a close, intense game but, in the end, the Hawks pulled off an impressive and easy 116-105 victory.
This means the Heat have just one more chance to reach the playoffs or go home.
Numerous people were astonished to see the Heat, who have been performing better and better lately, fall apart in such a big way.
Skip Bayless was beside himself on Wednesday morning following the poor performance.
“That was as shameful and humiliating an effort by a Pat Riley-Erik Spoelstra team that I have ever seen,” Bayless said on Undisputed.

Bayless said the entire team looked lackluster and defeated throughout the game.
He even said that Bam Adebayo looked much smaller than he actually is and wasn’t much of a threat at all.
If the Heat don’t make it into the playoffs, a lot could change for the team.
They didn’t make many alterations in the previous offseason because they felt they had what it took to at least make the Eastern Conference Finals again.
But after a season filled with ups and downs, that seems like a tall order.
Could this be the end of the Spolestra era in Miami?
Could Jimmy Butler, Adebayo, or others be departing from the team?
The Heat will have to really rethink things if they aren’t able to win their next game and enter the postseason.
They simply cannot have another game like they did on Tuesday night.
