Bayless was ragging on Westbrook last week, calling him “Westbrick” and challenging him to a face-to-face debate on-air.
Now he’s at it again, using the generosity of another player to once again rip into Westbrook.
James Harden declines his $47.4 mil option, reportedly to take a more team-helpful deal w Philly. Westbrook opted IN for his $47 mil, after an all-time disastrous season. He is about helping only Westbrook.

Bayless commented on James Harden‘s decision to opt out of his big deal with the Philadelphia 76ers, a move that will allow the team to have more money in its bank and more ability to land trade assets.
This came just a day after Westbrook decided to re-sign with the Lakers, despite his rocky first season with the squad.

Is he right or is this just Bayless being Bayless?
Railing Against Russ
Bayless continually has a low opinion about Westbrook but does his latest statement actually make sense?
He’s not wrong to say that Harden’s move was helpful to his team and a nice gesture that actually puts his squad first.
At the same time, it’s a bit much to say that Westbrook is only thinking about helping himself: this was an amount that was agreed upon and he is simply receiving the cash that is owed to him.
If anyone else did this, no one would bat an eye but since it comes on the heels of Westbrook’s troubled season, it’s seen as a huge offense against the Lakers.
Bayless might be looking into this situation just a bit too much.
