One NFL player that seemingly is always in the news is quarterback Baker Mayfield.
Mayfield was drafted first overall in the 2018 NFL Draft, which was a surprise to many.
The Cleveland Browns were the ones that drafted him, but it never worked out.
He had one good season in 2020, where he led the Browns to the AFC Divisional round.
But other than that, there was nothing but disappointment.
After spending time with the Carolina Panthers and Los Angeles Rams over the past season, Mayfield has found a new home.
He signed a one-year contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and is expected to be their starter.
Not many people in the NFL world still believe in Mayfield as a starter in the league.
But, the one person that does is Skip Bayless.
Bayless talked on his show about how he still thinks Mayfield can be a “pretty great” player.
I may be the last person on Earth that still believes in Baker Mayfield.

Mayfield has battled injuries throughout his career, and now he has to play with the expectations of replacing Tom Brady.
But anyone that thinks Mayfield will be close to Brady is fooling themselves.
The one thing going for Mayfield in Tampa is the weapons he can throw too.
It seems clear that wide receivers Mike Evans and Chris Godwin will be the best Mayfield has played with in his career.
Those two can help get the best out of the veteran quarterback.
Playing in the NFC South will be good for Mayfield because that is the worst division in football.
If he can play solid in 2023, the Buccaneers could return to the playoffs.
