John Wall didn’t play a game with the Houston Rockets this year and people are talking about the impact that will have on his legacy.
Some feel that his legacy is tarnished and that he’s yet another player who had a lot of potential that he never delivered on.
NBA History 9+ assists for career:
– Magic Johnson
– Isiah Thomas
– John Stockton
– Kevin Johnson
– Chris Paul
– John Wall

That’s what Colin Cowherd thinks.
The sports analyst went on a rant on his show, saying that Wall has “never made a teammate better.”
He said the same about Russell Westbrook of the Los Angeles Lakers too before praising the hard work and skill of Draymond Green of the Warriors.
However, there are some problems with that statement.
Currently, Wall is just one of the few players in NBA history with a 9+ assist average for his career.
The others on that list include Magic Johnson, John Stockton, and Chris Paul.
How can you say Wall doesn’t make his teammates better when he’s achieving at least nine assists a game?
Wall Ball
Yes, Wall is certainly going through a rough patch in his career right now.
But hopefully, he is able to return to the league soon because he’s only 31 and still has a lot more to prove – and a lot more to achieve.
He is currently trying to find a team that suits him, one he can pour his heart into.
Honestly, he should try his hand with the Rockets because there are some great up-and-coming talents on the team and Wall could be part of their rebuilding process.
Wall really does help his team and is better than people give him credit for.
Ideally, he will have another chance to prove that again.
