With the Los Angeles Angels finally becoming the contending ballclub they so desired to be, two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani is finally a part of a successful team that is winning and beating some of the best teams in the league.

Ohtani is perhaps the most exciting player in all of baseball.

He can hit home runs like nobody’s business and pitch like an ace.

For years, the teams he was a part of weren’t going anywhere.

Now, he finally gets to be a part of a winning ballclub and is having a blast.

You could really see it as he raced home from second base on Anthony Rendon‘s walk-off hit yesterday against the latter’s former club, the Washington Nationals.

Ohtani Needs October

This is what Ohtani needs.

He needs to be a part of a team that wins and contends for the postseason.

We need to see him on the October stage.

While we’re still quite far away from October, the Angels are certainly playing like a team that is capable of making a run into the postseason and going deep.

This is a good Angels team with power, speed, pitching, and defense.

It’s been since before Ohtani ever came over to the Angels that they were last in the postseason.

But now, the Angels are winning again and if they continue to do so, we have a chance to see an iconic duo of Ohtani and Mike Trout on the world’s biggest stage.

Players like Ohtani need to be seen in the postseason.

That is where so many great stars shine the brightest.

We’ll see if the Angels can keep it up and if we can finally see Ohtani and Trout together in October.
