Shaq Responded To A Bold Steph Curry Claim

The Golden State Warriors are currently the best team in the NBA, after winning yet another NBA Finals just a few weeks ago.

Some people even say that the Warriors are now one of the greatest franchises of all time.

Of course, this has created some controversy and intense opinions, even among players.

Steph Curry, for example, believes that the 2017 championship Warriors could beat the 2001 Los Angeles Lakers, as seen below.

“I don’t know who would guard Shaq,” Curry said, “but I don’t know who would guard me and Klay either.”

He then added that the team would be deeper than the 2001 Lakers: “And three is better than two.”

Well, Shaquille O’Neal wasn’t having any of that talk and came out with a response, saying, “If they don’t double me, I’m going for 60 without the free throws.”

Now, people all over the NBA are debating which team would come out on top.

No matter where you land in this argument, you are sure to have some people upset with you.

You can expect many more people to submit their two cents about this debate in the weeks ahead.

In the end, none of it really matters because there is no way to prove which team is better and who would come out on a top in a showdown.

You can look at the numbers and each team’s respective performances and you see two of the best teams to ever play the game.

The bottom line is that both of these squads were unlike any other in the NBA at the time and will be spoken about for years to come.

Debating which was better is a bit silly when they were both so incredible.
