Older generations of NFL fans will remember Shannon Sharpe as the tight end who was too big for defensive backs and too fast for linebackers to cover.
Those advantages helped him collect 10,060 yards and 82 touchdowns throughout his 14-season career.
He is also an eight-time Pro Bowler, five-time All-Pro, and three-time Super Bowl champion.
Sharpe also holds the record for most receiving yards by a tight end in a game (214) and was inducted to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2011.
But for the younger ones, they might know him more as the guy who debates with Skip Bayless on FOX Sports’ “Skip and Shannon: Undisputed.”
Whether you agree with his views or not, you cannot deny the fact that he has kept himself in great physical shape.
Here is a glimpse on his workout routine, as shared by the NFL’s official Twitter account.

The caption reads, “Uncle Shay Shay is a beast at age 54.”
In the 32-second clip from his so-called dungeon, Sharpe started with two reps of a 405-pound bench press.
By the looks of it, he seems to be ready to play professional football again.
Sharpe Knows Serious Business
He may crack jokes at times but Sharpe knows when it is time for serious work.
His exercise proves his dedication to staying fit at an age when most retired players might not resemble their looks during their playing days.
Sharpe is like fine wine because he gets better with age.
Aside from his television work, he also has a podcast called Club Shay Shay and his episode with Bubba Wallace was included in the Apple Podcasts Best of 2021 list.
He also launched his own liquor named Cognac Le Portier last year.
Indeed, keeping in shape allows him to give his best in all his endeavors.
