Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant is once again under heavy fire.
Morant is facing accusations of punching a 17-year-old kid during a pickup basketball game and then flashing a gun at him.
And while his agents were quick to dismiss these accusations, Morant and his environment have shown a pattern of worrisome behavior as of late.
That’s why former NFL player Shannon Sharpe urged Morant to start acting like the star he is and move on from those people who don’t have his best interest in mind.
Sharpe shared his own experience as a football star and how he had to let go of some things and some people so he wouldn’t jeopardize his career and all the hard things he worked for.
“Ja, you’re going to have to move differently. You’re in a different stratosphere now,” Sharpe said on Undisputed. “I just think he needs to conduct himself as a person who’s in that stratosphere.”

Several people have called Morant out over this behavior.
There’s absolutely no reason to keep on acting like that after becoming an NBA star.
He signed a signature shoe deal with Nike and has become a franchise player, so why would he be worrying about acting tough and getting street credit?
Some guys pray to get a chance at the pros.
Hopefully, he’ll grow up and finally realize what’s truly important, as he’s just way too talented and good to waste his career.
