Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks is one of the most celebrated NBA stars alive.
He has created quite a career for himself in the last few years and is now a household name…even if some people can’t pronounce or spell it.
Yet, some people still considered Antetokounmpo “soft” or not in the same league as guys like LeBron James, Kevin Durant, or Joel Embiid.
This sort of thinking has become too much for those who support the Greek Freak.
Enough is enough. Y’all need to stop being disrespectful to Giannis and give his title as best player in the NBA. Bck2Bck MVPs, finals MVP and All star gm MVP in the last 4 seasons. Should be more than enough for him to hold the title. #GreekFreak #BucksvsCelts #NBAPlayoffs2022

Former NFL superstar and current sports analyst Shannon Sharpe is sick of all the trash-talking of Antetokounmpo.
He rallied for the Bucks star on Twitter, saying:
“Enough is enough. Y’all need to stop being disrespectful to Giannis and give his title as best player in the NBA. Bck2Bck MVPs, finals MVP and All star gm MVP in the last 4 seasons. Should be more than enough for him to hold the title.”
When you look at it that way, it’s pretty hard to argue against Sharpe’s point.
Best Of The Best
Antetokounmpo really is a special sort of player.
Right now, he is averaging career-highs of 29.9 points, 11.6 rebounds, and 5.8 assists.
Those are huge numbers and all MVP-caliber.
The crazy thing about Antetokounmpo is that he started great and has only gotten better over the last few years.
He has perfected his shooting game a lot and worked on his leadership skills too.
No matter where he is on the floor, Antetokounmpo can prove to be a serious threat to opponents.
Perhaps it’s his charming demeanor or his joyful smile but there are far too many people who don’t think he’s a true threat on the court.
You might not think he’s the best player alive but you cannot deny that he’s easily one of the best doing it right now.
