Then, LeBron James arrived and Kuz was at the constant forefront of trade rumors.
In this past season, he died his hair blonde and received a lot of feedback through social media.
Despite all of that, Kyle Kuzma can say it was all worth it as he is now an NBA champion.
However, he may not be apart of the defending champions come January, when the NBA plans on rebooting.

During this past season, Kuzma showed he put in a lot of work trying to improve on the defensive end.
In fact, the Lakers proved they do not need Kuzma to be the third scorer in order for them to win the NBA Championship.
But, on the same token, the Lakers know they need a legit 3rd scorer moving forward if they want to repeat.
Kuzma is up for his rookie extension this offseason.
Accordingly, the Lakers can extend him, trade him, or allow him to play this year out on his contract and have him prove his worth to this team.
But, it is seeming more likely than not, that a Danny Green and Kyle Kuzma trade package is imminent in this offseason.
