Seahawks Pulled Off A Hilarious Schedule Prank On The Players

The Seattle Seahawks gained steam towards the latter part of the 2021 season by winning four of their last six games.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to clinch a postseason berth because they ended at 7-10.

Still, they would like to bounce off from the momentum they’ve built from those games.

However, the Seahawks will have a different look in 2022 with Russell Wilson and Bobby Wagner gone.

As every season starts, there is optimism among fans that their team will perform well.

But the team decided to mess up with the players by releasing a fake schedule.

Brilliant: The @Seahawks fooled their players, creating a fake schedule with all the worst possible situations — including multiple road holiday games, four straight road games & no bye after their Germany game.

Pro Football Focus writer Ari Meirov tweeted, “Brilliant: The @Seahawks fooled their players, creating a fake schedule with all the worst possible situations — including multiple road holiday games, four straight road games & no bye after their Germany game. Quandre Diggs was sick to his stomach.”

Diggs’ reaction after seeing the fake schedule was hilarious because he couldn’t believe that they will be playing on Thanksgiving.

Towards the latter part of the video, head coach Pete Carroll said “I’m a little worried about you guys right now.”

Another player reacted, “They did us bad. I feel like we got the short end of the stick.”

But when it was revealed to be fake, the players were relieved to know that they are not playing a brutal schedule.

A Grueling Division For The Seahawks

While their schedule isn’t as brutal as the fake one, they still have to go through the gauntlet of the NFC West.

They were the only team from the division that did not make the playoffs and their foes remain strong.

The Los Angeles Rams added Wagner and Allen Robinson II while the San Francisco 49ers may retain Deebo Samuel.

The Arizona Cardinals traded for Marquise Brown to load their receiving corps which already has A.J. Green, Rondale Moore, and DeAndre Hopkins.

Seattle’s schedule might not be tough but their opponents are.
