Scott Boras sure knows how to make his clients rich.
This MLB offseason, several superstars have signed massive contracts, with the most recent example being Carlos Correa, who just signed a 13-year, $350 million contract with the San Francisco Giants.
On Twitter, Bob Nightengale of USA Today tweeted a list of all players who are clients of Boras and have signed contracts thus far, and revealed that with all of them combined, Boras has negotiated $1.01 billion in contracts.
All of this has come before left-hander Carlos Rodon has signed, which means that when he finally does sign a new deal, Boras will have struck again.
Dazzling winter: Scott Boras has
negotiated $1.01 billion in contacts with Carlos Rodon next up:
Carlos Correa: $350M
Xander Bogaerts: $280M
Brandon Nimmo: $162M
Masataka Yoshida: $90M
Taijuan Walker:$72M
Sean Manaea: $25M
Cody Bellinger: $17.5M

How Boras Negotiates
Without question, Boras is one of MLB’s top agents and knows how to negotiate in order to help his clients get the best possible deals in free agency, as evidenced by the amount of money several stars have signed for.
Correa is just the latest example of Boras’ ability to negotiate contracts.
Other examples include Brandon Nimmo, Xander Bogaerts, and Taijuan Walker.
Nimmo received eight years and $162 million from the New York Mets.
Bogaerts received 11 years and $280 million from the San Diego Padres.
Simply put, Boras knows how to negotiate and clearly understands what players want when they hit the free agent market.
Rodon is sure to covet a ton of money in his next deal.
Teams such as the New York Yankees have been involved in talks with the left-hander.
Rodon’s new contract could be signed relatively soon as we move along in the offseason.
