The New York Giants are this year’s success story in the NFL.
Last season, the Giants ended another miserable season with only three wins.
During the offseason, they fired both their head coach Joe Judge and long-hated GM Dave Gettleman.
With Judge out, the Giants decided to hire first-time head coach Brian Daboll.
At the beginning of the season, no one would have expected the Giants to be competitive.
But, skip forward to January, and Daboll has transformed this team overnight.
With a team that was similar to last year’s team, the Giants have massively improved from a three-win side to a team that has just made the playoffs, their first playoff appearance since 2016.
Daboll has allowed quarterback Daniel Jones to finally thrive in the offense and lead the team, and himself, to the playoffs.
Daboll’s impact has been felt in all corners of the Giants organization, and he has been praised by many people for this, including star running back Saquon Barkley, who had also had an amazing season.
Brian Daboll as Coach of the Year…
Saquon Barkley: “I think so.”
Kind of hard to argue at this point. #giants

Barkley thinks that Daboll should win the Coach of the Year.
He has taken a team that is injury prone, a team that was lucky to win five games in a season, with a quarterback who struggled with no offensive weapons or protection from the O-line and turned them into a playoff team.
If that is not the actions of the Coach of the Year, then what is?
