The New Orleans Saints have reloaded after missing last season’s playoffs.
They drafted Chris Olave in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft and signed Jarvis Landry to a one-year deal.
New Orleans will also have Michael Thomas back after missing their entire 2021 campaign.
Add versatile running back Alvin Kamara to the mix and they have an explosive unit that can quickly rack up points.
On defense, the Saints added Marcus Maye, Daniel Sorensen, and All-Pro safety Tyrann Mathieu.
Those players will fortify their secondary which already has C.J. Gardner-Johnson, Paulson Adebo, and Pro Bowl cornerback Marshon Lattimore.
They also have linebacker Demario Davis, who had 70 solo tackles, and defensive end Marcus Davenport, who had nine sacks.
But their leader upfront is edge rusher Cameron Jordan, who had 12.5 sacks and 38 solo tackles last season.
Seeing how their roster vastly improved during the offseason, the former Cal standout is already making a bold prediction for the upcoming year.

Jordan tweeted, “Saints az bound feb 2023 imma say it now.”
His thoughts refer to Super Bowl LVII, which will be February 12, 2023 at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
While that venue is the Arizona Cardinals’ home turf, Jordan believes that they will be representing the NFC in the big game.
Tough Road Ahead For The Saints
For Jordan’s statement to become true, the Saints must ensure that Jameis Winston is back in game shape.
Otherwise, it would be difficult to win in the league without a steady quarterback.
Likewise, they should overcome the Tampa Bay Buccaneers not only in the regular season but also in the playoffs.
The Saints lost their last playoff game against Tampa Bay, which was also Drew Brees‘ final NFL game.
There’s also the Green Bay Packers who still have Aaron Rodgers.
New Orleans should also have an answer for a Los Angeles Rams defense that has Aaron Donald, Jalen Ramsey, and newly-added linebacker Bobby Wagner.
