The Denver Broncos have proclaimed for so long that an elite quarterback is all they lack to become legitimate contenders.
Enter Russell Wilson.
The Broncos thought that Aaron Rodgers would be coming to the Mile High City, but he opted to return to the Green Bay Packers.
But as the team’s faithful felt dejected, Wilson’s arrival gave them renewed energy.
There’s a certain buzz around the team and Broncos fans can’t contain their excitement.
Finally, they have a Super Bowl-winning quarterback who can maximize the talents they have on offense.
They could not care less if they lost tight end Noah Fant in the trade for Wilson because they still have a menacing receiving corps of Tim Patrick, Courtland Sutton, and Jerry Jeudy.
The Broncos aren’t bothered about the five draft picks they surrendered to the Seattle Seahawks because they have a chance to win now barring any injury.
But while his team is flowing with talent on paper, the new Broncos quarterback isn’t wasting time in familiarizing himself with his receivers’ tendencies and movement.

Jeudy commented “Uh oh #WeWorking” on Wilson’s video of the two players going through some reps.
They will have more success if they remain on the same page, especially if they make the playoffs.
Ending The Broncos’ Playoff Drought
Jeudy and Wilson are just two of the players who can help bring back the Broncos to the postseason.
The last time they went there was in 2015 when they defeated the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50.
The current bunch of Broncos hopes that they can replicate that feat.
However, it’s easier said than done, given the gauntlet that is the AFC West alone.
After making it out of their division, they would have to face other AFC teams that also upgraded their roster.
