Russell Westbrook of the Los Angeles Lakers has a lot of free time on his hands lately since his team was eliminated from the playoffs before they even began.
This means he has more time to contemplate his future, perfect his game, and enjoy some social activities.
One of those activities happened to be the world-famous Met Gala in New York City.
The Met Gala, which was held on Monday night, is known for its extravagant, over-the-top, and sometimes confounding fashion choices.
Westbrook was there and he did not disappoint.

Westbrook outfit was a mix of Jiminy Cricket and Alfred from Batman with a little bit of Westbrook’s own eccentric tendencies thrown in as well.
All in all, it was wild and different and very Westbrook.
Free Time On His Hands
The Met Gala is definitely not a sporting event so no one was talking about Westbrook’s future.
However, there are still millions of NBA fans wondering what he’s got in store for next season.
After the troubled season they had, will the Lakers and Westbrook part ways in the offseason?
Many rumors suggest that the guard’s time in LA may have come to an end.
But is any trade involving him possible given he has a huge contract and his output was inconsistent this past season?
Instead, will Westbrook remain in Los Angeles in hopes that a new coach will solve the team’s problems?
There is a lot that remains unknown about Westbrook and his future time with the Lakers.
Decisions will have to be made in the next few months.
Until then, Westbrook can spend his time dressing up and having fun but he needs to remember some tough choices lie ahead.
