It’s almost as if Russell Westbrook is now trying to convince people that he isn’t sticking with the Los Angeles Lakers.
After months of speculation and rumors, Westbrook is remaining mum about his future intentions.
But he just committed to a behind-the-scenes move that could be saying a lot.

It is being reported that Westbrook listed his LA home for sale for $29.9 million.
Westbrook could be doing this for a couple of reasons and it’s true that this doesn’t guarantee a departure from the Lakers.
But if he was leaving LA, this would be his first step.
Westbrook On The Way Out
Perhaps Westbrook is just moving and maybe he is trying to get good value for the home that he owns.
That is a completely valid reason why he would be selling his house.
At the same time, the timing of this move is a bit suspicious – it comes as more and more rumors pop up about the Lakers trying to move Westbrook, in-fighting between him and his management team, and suggestions that he’s open to being traded away.
All in all, this paints a picture of Westbrook’s life in transition.
Last season was a very rough one for the former MVP but he and his fans have sworn that he could turn it around in 2022-23.
That is very true, he could get a lot better and become the player he once was.
However, he might be doing that for a different team if the Lakers get their wish.
We don’t know if Westbrook is selling his home because he’s moving to a new estate in LA or if he’s leaving the state and the team.
In fact, the only thing we do know about Westbrook and the Lakers is that we don’t know anything at all.
