It seems there aren’t many fans celebrating Russell Westbrook of the Los Angeles Lakers these days.
Because of his inconsistent and troubled season, a slew of people think Westbrook is washed up, overrated, and not worth the amount of money he’s raking in from the Lakers.
In fact, some are even questioning Westbrook’s position on the prestigious NBA 75 Team.
But saying he doesn’t deserve a place on there is really short-sighted.
Russell Westbrook's spot on the NBA 75 Team being questioned cause his age 33 season instead of remembering his prime?

It is important to remember that Westbrook has had a lot of excellent seasons in his career so far, along with the bad one he’s currently going through.
Westbrook has won an MVP award, has been to the NBA Finals and four Western Conference Finals, along with 11 playoffs.
Additionally, he is a nine-time All-Star and All-NBA Team and has two scoring titles and three assist titles.
He also holds the record for the most triple-doubles in NBA history.
Say what you want about Westbrook but you can’t deny that the man has had a hugely successful basketball career.
Rebound And Revival
It’s true that he is much better than the season he’s having right now but there is plenty to be concerned about.
Westbrook isn’t performing as poorly as he once was in the season but he’s still missing too many shots, turning over the ball far too often, and playing sloppy basketball that isn’t helping his team.
It should be noted that he’s not the only problem on the Lakers, though – there are many issues plaguing that team.
Westbrook has repeatedly said that the season can still be turned around and the team can make it far in the playoffs.
If that’s true, it’ll need to happen soon – and it’ll only happen if we once again see the Westbrook of yesteryear.
