There have been a lot of rough headlines about Russell Westbrook of the Los Angeles Lakers over the last season.
Ever since the former MVP moved to LA, people started to really critique his game in a very intense way.
That was easy to do with the lacking Lakers season he had, where he put up some of the worst numbers of his career and his team missed the playoffs entirely.
But when you dig deeper into Westbrook, you see that he has done some pretty special things.

For example, Westbrook has more than 10 triple-doubles against one team, the Indiana Pacers.
There is no other player in the league that has more than 7 triple-doubles against a single team.
Westbrook is a triple-double machine and that’s just one of his important features.
He may have had a bad season but that doesn’t mean he’s a bad player – yet.
Westbrook Raining Buckets
There is no doubt that Westbrook’s first year with the Lakers was a bad one.
His percentages across the board dropped in some shocking ways and he never fit with the lineup.
But you cannot deny that Westbrook’s career has been filled with some great moments and stats, even though he’s becoming more inconsistent lately.
Some people are ready to throw the towel and call him washed up but it’s too early to say that.
If Westbrook has a few more seasons like the last then those comments can be made but more data is needed.
The question is if Westbrook will remain in LA.
Rumors about him leaving the Lakers have swirled for months now and the clock to the new season is ticking.
