The Philadelphia 76ers had a busy trade deadline, having shipped off Ben Simmons to the Brooklyn Nets and acquiring James Harden in return.
The Sixers are tied with the defending NBA champion Milwaukee Bucks for the second-best record in the Eastern Conference, trailing the Miami Heat by three games for the top spot.
And while the trade deadline has obviously passed, that doesn’t mean there aren’t still rumors about where certain stars could end up in the near future.
In fact, former NBA star Andrew Bogut revealed on the Rogues Bogues podcast that there has been some talk about Washington Wizards star shooting guard Bradley Beal potentially teaming up with Harden and Joel Embiid in Philadelphia.
Andrew Bogut on the @RogueBoguesPod:
“I’ve heard a pretty big rumor that Bradley Beal is trying to team up with Joel Embiid and James Harden in Philadelphia.”

Unstoppable?
Again, the trade deadline has already passed, so nothing can be done until the offseason at this point.
But if Harden were to stay in Philly and the Sixers were to go out and get Beal, they would be tough to beat.
This would undoubtedly make them the best team in the NBA, at least on paper.
A team featuring Embiid, Beal, and Harden would be seemingly unstoppable and the rest of the NBA would be at their mercy.
For the Sixers to go from having to deal with the drama created by the Simmons situation to having two of the top guards, Harden and Beal, to go with Embiid would be a major transition in just a short amount of time.
This team would likely draw some comparisons to the teams the Heat had when LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh were there.
That team made it to four straight NBA Finals, winning it all in 2012 and 2013.
