The EuroBasket tournament hasn’t been easy, even for some of the biggest stars in the NBA.
A slew of popular All-Stars headed overseas to represent their countries in the games but all of them have been eliminated in the weeks since the competition began.
Well, all of them except one.

Yes, Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets has been taken out, as has Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks.
Luka Doncic and his Slovenian team were on fire for a while in the games but they are now out too.
That means that Rudy Gobert of the Minnesota Timberwolves is the last remaining NBA All-Star in EuroBasket 2022.
Before what could be perhaps his most important season in the NBA, Gobert is showing everyone just how talented he really is.
Gobert Going Hard
So far, Gobert has been an absolute unit in the EuroBasket games: he has averaged 20 points and 16 rebounds a game while shooting with a 71% field goal percentage.
His defense has been second-to-none and he has been shutting down the offense of multiple teams.
It’s been some time since Gobert has played this impressively in the league.
But perhaps this is just a warm-up act for the upcoming 2022-23 NBA season.
Gobert has a lot to prove now that he’s playing for the Timberwolves.
The team put up a lot of assets for Gobert in the blockbuster trade that acquired him a couple of months ago.
This caused some to publicly question Gobert’s worth and his abilities.
He is ready to get back to the US and remind people how special he is.
If Gobert performs as he has at the EuroBasket games then the Timberwolves will be quite happy with trading for him.
